The Intertape Polymer Group (IPG) 510 Natural Rubber Carton Sealing Tape (N8228) is a 2.3 mil thick, heavy-duty packaging tape constructed from biaxially-oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film. It features an aggressive pressure-sensitive solvent natural rubber adhesive, designed for dependable closure of corrugated and linerboard boxes. This tape is specifically engineered for demanding applications, including those involving high recycled content cartons, rough or ultra-smooth surfaces, heavily inked packaging, dusty or dirty environments, humid conditions, and temperature extremes. Each clear roll measures 72mm in width and 100m in length. Performance specifications include an adhesion to steel of 21 oz/in, a tensile strength of 29 lb/in, and 175% elongation. The tape maintains consistent performance in application temperatures ranging from 32°F to 120°F. It complies with CID A-A-1684C and the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, CFR Title 21, Subpart B, Par. 175.105, which covers indirect food contact. The oduct is supplied as a case of 24 rolls.
