Product Overview
This IPEX USA LLC-CANPLAS 414462BC offset downspout adapter is designed to connect residential rain gutter downspouts to underground sewer piping. It features an offset flush fit for installation close to the building wall. The adapter accommodates either 2x3 inch or 3x4 inch rectangular downspouts and connects to a 4-inch diameter round PVC sewer pipe via a hub connection. Constructed from durable, flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in a white finish, it offers resistance to chemicals, weathering, and has a maximum service temperature of 140°F (60°C). Installation typically involves approved PVC primer and solvent cement for secure joints. The product is compatible with PVC sewer and drain pipe systems, often meeting standards like CSA B181.2 and ASTM D303
