Product Overview
The ITW Red Head Dynabolt 50114 is a hex head sleeve anchor designed for medium-duty fastening in concrete, grout-filled concrete block, hollow concrete block, and brick. Constructed from zinc-plated carbon steel, this expansion anchor measures 3/8" in diameter and 1-7/8" in length. It comes pre-assembled with a nut and washer for efficient installation. Installation requires a 3/8" diameter carbide-tipped drill bit, and a minimum embedment of 1-1/4" is necessary for optimal performance. The anchor works by expanding as the nut is tightened, providing a secure, vibration-resistant hold. It is tested to ASTM E488 criteria, with installation using carbide-tipped drill bits meeting ANSI B212.15 standards. Typical applications include securing machinery, supports, window frames, partitions, cabinets, and pipe supports.
