The J-B Weld FiberFix Pro Glass Heat Wrap (MPN 38550) is a high-strength, water-activated fiberglass repair wrap designed for demanding repair applications. Constructed from fiberglass impregnated with a specialized resin, this wrap hardens like steel to create a permanent, durable bond. It is specified with a 2-inch width and 35-inch length, and can withstand temperatures up to 1500°F (815°C). This heat wrap is ideal for repairing and sealing components in high-heat environments, including automotive exhaust systems, mufflers, tailpipes, and cracked pipes. Once applied after being soaked in water, the repair cures in as little as one hour, providing a fix reportedly 100 times stronger than conventional duct tap
