Product Overview
Industrial water pump that can be powered using the boat engine Having a water pump that is not reliant on the boat s battery banks can come in handy; especially while trolling or in emergency situations. This Jabsco pump was designed to be belt driven using a gasoline or diesel engine and engages via an electro-magnetic clutch that can be turned ON and OFF using a remote switch. While there are countless applications for these pumps, they are ideal for bait tank circulation while trolling, for washdown pumps or as an emergency bilge pump. Flow rates are dependent on pulley RPM and flow direction relies on rotational direction of the pulley. A bronze body and stainless steel shaft easily stand up to the marine environment. Nitrile or Neoprene impellers can be used and are accessed through a cover plate close to the 1" NPT intake and output ports. Save your battery life for making ice for your catch and harness your boat s engine power for your bait using a belt driven pump.
