It features a patented internal collapsing flap-valve that retains milk within the teat, preventing backflow and ensuring responsiveness to the calf's suckling. The design includes two milk opening slits, one on each side, which facilitate increased milk flow, reduce leaking, and help prevent choking or aspiration during feeding. Its tapered back is specifically designed for use with narrow-fitting feeders, such as Milk Bar Feeders, and is compatible with tube or gravity feeding systems requiring a 22mm (7/8") hole. Constructed from a rubber/carbon mixture, this black nipple is UV protected to enhance durability and resistance to harsh sunlight.
