Product Overview
PREMIUM METAL BIT COMPOSITION Specifically engineered for industrial-grade metals, our countersink bits are made from High-Speed Steel (HSS) with 5% Cobalt, also known as HSS-Co M35 grade, ensuring exceptional durability, heat resistance, and performance. HIGH EFFICIENCY & VERSATILITY Designed for use with stationary drills for optimal chamfering precision, but also compatible with hand drills for countersinking in both hard and soft metals, as well as wood. SUPERIOR DURABILITY Built to last longer than regular HSS bits, these countersink bits are extremely sharp and feature a Black & Gold corrosion-resistant coating, ensuring extended tool life and consistent performance. PRECISION DESIGN Featuring a 5-flute, 82-degree design, these bits reduce vibration and provide smoother drilling and cleaner finishes. The 1/4 round shank ensures universal compatibility with both stationary and handheld drills. IMPORTANT USAGE TIPS These Metal Countersink Bits are chamfer tools designed for countersinking pre-drilled holes. They are not self-drilling, so a pilot hole must be made using a metal drill bit of the desired screw size before countersinking.
