This perlite filter aid media is engineered for residential swimming pool and spa filtration systems, specifically designed for use in diatomaceous earth (D.E.) filters. The Johns Manville 2000X filter media forms a porous cake on the filter septum, preventing clogging and allowing for efficient, easy backwashing.
