Product Overview
The Johns Manville Linacoustic RC fiberglass duct liner provides both thermal and acoustical insulation for sheet metal ducts in air conditioning, heating, and ventilating systems. It features a flexible fiberglass core bonded with a thermosetting resin, and its airstream surface is protected by Johns Manville's Reinforced Coating system, which incorporates a Permacote acrylic coating and a flexible glass mat reinforcement. This design ensures resistance to dust, dirt, and microbial growth, meeting ASTM C1338 and ASTM G21/G22 fungi and bacteria resistance standards. The liner has an R-value of 8.0, measures 2 inches thick, 47.5 inches wide, and comes in a 50-foot roll. It is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 250°F and an air velocity of 6,000 fpm without erosion, complying with ASTM C1071. The product features factory-applied edge coating and is GREENGUARD Gold certified, with surface burning characteristics that meet ASTM E84 and UL 723 (25/50 flame spread/smoke developed) and NFPA 90A/90B.
