The Johnson Pump Flexible Impeller 09-1028BT-1 is an 8-blade, spline drive replacement component for marine flexible impeller pumps, suitable for engine cooling, water transfer, wash down, and bilge pumping applications. Manufactured by SPX's Johnson Pump brand, this impeller is constructed from Neoprene (MC97 compound) and features an outer diameter of 65 mm (2.56") and a width of 50.2 mm (1.98"). It is designed for use with Johnson F7 series pumps, including models like F7B-3, F7B-5, F7B-8, and F7B-9. The kit includes the impeller, gaskets, o-rings, and lubricating gel for installation. Regular inspection and replacement of worn or damaged impellers are recommended to prevent system failure or engine breakdown. Nitrile versions (e.g., 09-1028B-9) are available for applications involving diesel or light oils.
