Product Overview
This Jones Stephens G25042 brass hose barb fitting is designed to connect a flexible hose to a threaded piping system. It features a 1/4 inch inner diameter (ID) hose barb on one end for secure connection to flexible tubing and a 1/8 inch MPT (Male Pipe Thread) on the other for attachment to a female NPT port. Constructed from brass, this adapter offers corrosion resistance and is suitable for various fluid transfer applications, including non-potable water, air, oil, and fuel. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 100 psi and a working temperature of 150°F. For proper installation, a hose clamp is recommended for the barb connection, and thread sealant should be used on the MPT for a leak-tight seal. This product is intended for non-potable water applications only and does not comply with low-lead standards for drinking water systems
