Product Overview
The Jones Stephens N11-003 (MPN: N11003) is a tee hose barb fitting constructed from molded nylon plastic. Designed for connecting and branching flexible tubing, this fitting creates a secure, leak-resistant seal by gripping the inside of a 3/8 inch inner diameter (ID) hose, typically requiring a worm or ear clamp for proper installation. It is suitable for low-pressure fluid transfer applications, including air, water, fuel vapor, and coolants. Nylon provides a lightweight, durable, and corrosion-resistant connection, offering good resistance to various chemicals such as agricultural chemicals, non-acid based fertilizers, petroleum fuels, and ethanol. These fittings are commonly used with polyethylene, rubber, and vinyl tubing. Nylon hose barb fittings are generally rated for pressures up to 150 PSI at 70°F and can withstand temperatures up to 175°F at reduced pressure
