The Jones Stephens T35-002 (T35002) Techno DWV Test Plug Cap is constructed from heavy-duty PVC, designed to temporarily seal the end of a Drain, Waste, and Vent (DWV) pipe system. This cap is utilized for pressure testing to verify system integrity and prevent the entry of debris during construction or repair phases. It is specifically sized for 2-inch nominal DWV pipe, featuring an outer diameter of 2-9/16 inches and a length of 3/8 inch. The cap is applied by solvent cementing it over the end of the DWV pipe and is compatible with Schedule 40 piping. Engineered for reliable performance, it has been high-pressure tested to withstand conditions equivalent to over six stories of water, and its design ensures it will not clog or inadvertently enter the pipe.
