The Jones Stephens T35-004 DWV Cap Test Plug is a 4-inch fitting constructed from heavy-duty PVC, designed for the temporary sealing of DWV (Drain, Waste, Vent) piping systems. This cap-style plug is applied by solvent cementing it over the end of a 4-inch nominal diameter DWV pipe, facilitating pressure testing of plumbing installations for leaks during the rough-in phase. It is engineered to withstand high pressures, suitable for multi-story building inspections, and ensures the plug will not clog or inadvertently enter the pipe. The plug also serves to prevent debris from entering the pipe during construction.
