The Keedex K-BXSIM weldable gate box, specifically model K-BXSIM-AL, provides a robust housing for cylindrical locksets on gates, fences, or non-standard doors. This model is constructed from 0.125 gauge aluminum, chosen for welding to aluminum gates without galvanic corrosion. Other materials available in the series include 14 gauge steel for steel frames and 16 gauge stainless steel for corrosion resistance in coastal or high-humidity environments. It features a universal hole pattern compatible with most cylindrical lever sets, including Simplex 1000 and 5000 series, Kaba Access 1000/L1000/5000, and Alarm Lock Trilogy DL2700, 3000, and PDL3000 models. The box measures 5-1/2" W x 10-1/4" H x 1-3/4" D and is prepped for a 2-3/4" backset lock. It supports both weldable and bolt-through installations and ships unfinished, ready for painting or coating.
