The Bloomfield Kant-Slam KS-950 is a hydraulic gate and door closer designed to firmly and smoothly close gates and doors weighing up to 150 pounds. It utilizes a toggle arrangement of four levers and a vertical hydraulic cylinder with two high-tension springs, which provides ample closing force at the latching point. An easy-adjusting screw regulates the closing speed, ensuring gentle and smooth movement. Constructed from powder-coated steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, the unit features a black low-gloss finish. It has overall dimensions of 7-1/2" H x 13" W x 2-1/2" D and a mounting bracket measuring 3-1/4" x 1-3/4". Installation is versatile, allowing mounting on the opening side of right or left-hand gates or doors, at the side, top, middle, or bottom. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, the self-contained unit is weather-resistant, meets self-closing swimming pool enclosure requirements, and is ADA compliant. The manufacturer recommends using a stop at 90 degrees to prevent damage to the closer.
