The KDAR Company 22067 oxy-acetylene welding hose is a dual-line assembly designed for gas welding, cutting, and allied processes. This Grade R hose measures 1/4 inch in internal diameter and 25 feet in length, equipped with standard B fittings. Grade R classification indicates suitability specifically for acetylene gas and oxygen; its rubber compounds are not flame or oil resistant in the tube or cover, rendering it unsuitable for other fuel gases like propane, propylene, or MAPP gas, which can cause significant material deterioration and safety risks. The twin hose design typically features color-coding with red for acetylene and green for oxygen to prevent cross-connection. B-size fittings commonly utilize 9/16"-18 threads, with oxygen connections being right-hand threaded and acetylene connections left-hand threaded. These fittings are designed for medium gas volumes, with standard connections having a maximum working pressure of 200 PSIG as per CGA E-1 2009.
