This KDAR Company 28118 NPT male coupler is a pipe fitting designed with 1/4 inch National Pipe Taper (NPT) male threads on both ends. NPT threads are a U.S. standard featuring a 60° tapered design that creates a pressure-tight seal through mechanical interference as male and female threads wedge together. These fittings are commonly used in plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic, gas, and oil systems to connect two female NPT threaded components.
