Product Overview
This Oxy-Acetylene welding and cutting kit by KDAR Company (model VTK-MD) is a medium-duty system for metalworking tasks, including welding, cutting, and heating. It is capable of welding up to 1/2 inch steel and cutting up to 6 inches steel, although larger tips are required for the maximum cutting capacity. The kit features a Victor-style torch handle and cutting head constructed from brass and stainless steel, along with UL-approved medium-duty oxygen and acetylene regulators, which are compatible with CGA 540 type tanks. Included are a 3/16 inch x 12-1/2 foot twin welding hose, one 3-101-1 Victor-style cutting tip, three Victor-style welding tips (0-W-1, 2-W-1, and 4-W-1), and one no. 8 Rosebud 8MFA-1 Victor-style heating tip. Additional accessories consist of goggles with a no. 5 lens, a single flint striker, a standard tip cleaner set, and a universal tank wrench. The product is equipped with single-stage regulators and carries a 2-year limited warranty.
