The KN Crowder TYPE CC-1W Pocket Door Frame Kit is designed for single interior sliding door installations, allowing a door to recede into a wall cavity. This kit accommodates wood doors measuring 36 inches (3'-0") wide by 84 inches (7'-0") high, with a thickness ranging from 1-3/8 inches to 1-3/4 inches, and supports a maximum weight of 150 lbs (68 kg). It is suitable for 2x4 wood wall or 3-5/8 inch metal stud construction. The system includes a durable header track, steel uprights, and Easy Connect hangers with nylon wheels and precision ball bearings for smooth and quiet operation. It features KN Crowder's Catch 'N' Close soft-closing technology, which prevents door slamming and bouncing. The kit is ADA compliant, cycle tested up to 150,000 operations, and allows for door height and plumb adjustments post-installation. A groove is required at the bottom of the door for the guide channel.
