It effectively penetrates dense rust layers ranging from 2-12 mils and forms a stable iron compound coating, improving adhesion and surface quality for subsequent paints. The acid-free, non-aggressive formulation is safe on rusted metal and ideal for hard-to-reach areas such as reinforcing steel, structural beams, pipelines, ship hulls, and industrial equipment. Coverage ranges from 87-130 sq. ft. per lb depending on rust thickness. Dries in approximately 2 hours, creating a paint-ready surface without rinsing. Odorless and free from organic solvents, it promotes safer indoor and outdoor use. Store in a sealed container and away from children and sunlight. Shelf life exceeds 24 months. This rust converter chemically transforms unstable rust into a durable polymeric barrier without flaking.
