Rust Converter is a ready-to-use, plant-based formula designed for interior and exterior applications to convert rust into a durable protective layer. The 1 Gallon size provides ample volume for medium to large projects while maintaining precise application control. It penetrates rust layers ranging from 2–12 mils and forms a stable iron compound coating, improving adhesion and surface quality for subsequent paints. The acid-free, non-aggressive formulation is safe on rusted metal and ideal for hard-to-reach areas such as reinforcing steel, structural beams, pipelines, ship hulls, and industrial equipment. Coverage ranges from 87–130 sq. ft. per lb depending on rust thickness. Dries in approximately 2 hours, creating a paint-ready surface without rinsing. Odorless and free from organic solvents, it promotes safer indoor and outdoor use. Store in a sealed container between 41°F and 95°F away from children and sunlight. Shelf life exceeds 24 months. This rust converter chemically transforms unstable rust into a durable polymeric barrier without flaking. Its acid-free, plant-based formula allows application without rinsing or scrubbing, this creates an excellent primer base and ready for topcoat immediately after drying.
