Product Overview
The Kwikset 740H-3 Hancock keyed entry knob is part of the Signature Series, designed for exterior residential doors requiring key-controlled access. Constructed from zinc, this knob features the SmartKey Security cylinder, which allows for user re-keying in seconds and offers protection against lock bumping and picking. It accommodates door thicknesses from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" and features an adjustable backset for either 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" installations. The lockset includes a 6-way adjustable latch with a round corner faceplate and a round corner full lip strike. This product is ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 certified, ensuring durability and performance for residential applications. It comes with two keys and is specified for Keyed Alike installations (K3), meaning multiple locks can operate with the same key.
