TRIM TAB, STANDARD SST (PAIR) - T9X24 is a metal plate fastened to a boat to the stern's two sides. Trim tab actuators are connected to these plates. The actuators, which help maintain the boat level and even as you go across the water, are controlled either hydraulically or electrically. The actuators press on the plates as you move. Then, the plates press on the water. It will essentially push the boat back up while deflecting water. Therefore, the trim tab pushes back to level if it is leaning to one side along the roll axis. It is positioned on opposite sides so that if the vessel leans back excessively in one direction, the other tab can compensate.
