Product Overview
Compact, rugged vertical windlasses offered in a variety of configurations to meet your needs. Compact, stainless-steel windlasses for power and sailboats feature an elegant, low-profile design that conceals a robust, reliable drive train. The worm gearbox, spline shaft and drive train guarantee maximum strength, control and performance with every use. Plus, they deploy rope/chain or all-chain anchor rodes at the touch of a button. Features manual override and chain release function and a cone clutch for smooth, easy control. The V1/2/3 windlasses now feature FastFit, which makes installation quick and easy and ensures proper drive shaft alignment during installation. All models include breaker, up/down switch, dual-direction solenoid and clutch handle. Listed here in 12V. Also available in 24V. For installation, wiring and replacement parts, see the V1-V6/Sport Windlass Manual. NOTE: With one exception, all windlasses on this page are designed for use with Grade 43, High-Test G4 chain. Exception: The V1 Windlass, Model 8813131 can in addition to 1/4" High Test chain also use 1/4" Grade 30 BBB chain. If you wish to use your boat's existing chain, but are unsure what you have, please consult the ACCO Chain Catalog for help with chain identification.
