CRL Liquid Nails is a fast-bonding, superior quality, low-odor, latex construction adhesive for safer indoor use. Cleans up with water when wet, bridges gaps to 3/8" (10 mm), and has excellent water resistance and long-term holding power when set. Recommended for bonding plywood, hardboard, furring strips, foam board, molding, paneling, brick veneer, masonry/concrete, drywall, cork board, and ceramic tile repair.
Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry, and structurally sound. Temperature must be above 40 F (5 C). One of the surfaces to be bonded must be porous. Cabinets and Countertops: Apply 1/4" (6 mm) bead to contact areas. Press parts into place. Mechanical fasteners must be used for wall cabinets. Panels to Furring Strips or Studs: Panels must be conditioned to room temperature for 24 hours prior to installation. Apply a 1/4" (6 mm) zigzag bead to each strip or stud. Position panel so edges meet at stud center. Use nails or screws as required. Applies with a standard caulking gun. Clean Up: Use water for wet adhesive. Use mineral spirits or adhesive remover for dry adhesive.
NOTE: Liquid Nails is not recommended for styrofoam, foam, plastic, marble or mirrors. Liquid Nails is VOC Compliant, so it can be sold in areas with Air Quality Control Restrictions. Children and Schools GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified. Exceeds ASTM C-557 specifications.
