Product Overview
The Lo-Chlor Multi-Stain Remover (model LO-202-1) is a granular, triple-action chemical treatment designed to eliminate a broad spectrum of stains from swimming pool and spa surfaces. Its formula, containing a blend of organic acids including sulfamic acid and oxalic acid, targets metallic discolorations such as iron, copper, and manganese, as well as organic stains from leaves, algae, and tannins. This powdered remover is safe for use on all pool surfaces, including fiberglass, concrete, pebblecrete, vinyl, tiled, and plaster finishes. Each 2 lb jar treats up to 15,000 gallons of pool water. For optimal results, chlorine levels should be reduced before application, and water chemistry may require rebalancing after treatment. It is recommended to use a metal sequestering agent post-treatment to prevent future staining.
