The M-D Building Products 43371 CINCH series floor reducer is constructed from durable aluminum with a Spice powder coat finish. Designed to create a smooth, sloped transition between two uneven flooring surfaces, it helps prevent tripping hazards and protects the edges of higher flooring. This reducer, measuring 72 inches in length and 1-3/4 inches in width, utilizes a self-adhesive SnapTrack system for installation, eliminating the need for traditional fasteners like screws or nails. The SnapTrack adheres to a clean, dry subfloor using 3M ultra-bonding adhesive, and the reducer cap then snaps securely into the track. It is compatible with various flooring types, including luxury vinyl tile and plank, and can accommodate height differences typically ranging from 2mm to 8mm, or up to 1/2 inch. The profile can be cut to a desired length using a hacksaw.
