Product Overview
This M-D Building Products 66270 stair edging is constructed from aluminum with a matte black finish. Designed to cover and protect the edge of interior stair steps, it helps prevent wear and tear on carpeted or hard surface stair coverings and curling of vinyl floor seams. The edging measures 1-1/8 inches in width, 1-1/8 inches in depth, and 72 inches in length. It includes twelve 1-1/4 inch, 13-gauge color-matched screw nails for installation on wood floors. For concrete applications, wooden pegs are required and sold separately. The profile can be cut to a desired length using a hacksaw.
