Product Overview
DESCRIPTION: A ready-mixed, ready-to-use aluminum paint formulated with the finest grade leafing aluminum pigments, long wearing oils and synthetic resins. SURFACE PREP: All surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and free of oil, grease, or rust. Loose rust and scale should be removed with wire brush or sandpaper. Clean new metal with rags saturated with mineral spirits to remove grease or oily residue. Remove loose, scaling & peeling paint by scraping or sanding. To assure a good adhesion, glossy surfaces should be dulled. New masonry surfaces should be allowed to age at least 90 days before painting. Use a wire brush to remove loose sand and mortar. Recommended uses: Interior or exterior metal, wood or masonry surfaces. Recommended for radiators, boilers, smoke stacks and other surfaces where a heat-resistant coating is necessary. This coating derives its brilliance from a surface leafing pigment. Therefore it should not be used on any surface subject to abrasion or constant rubbing. APPLIACTION: Blend the paint by pouring off the top half to two-thirds of the paint into a separate container. Stir the remainder to a uniform consistency, APPLICATION: Blend the paint by pouring off the top half to two-thirds of the paint into a separate container. Stir the remainder to a uniform consistency, making sure that all aluminum pigments are evenly dispersed. Add the removed portion back into the can while mixing thoroughly. Stir occasionally during application. Apply the paint with a good quality polyester brush, short nap roller, or spray equipment. The paint should be applied liberally, finishing off in one direction. Exterior paint should not be attempted in damp or rainy weather or when temperatures are below 50+ALA F. Do not apply to hot surfaces. DO NOT THIN
