Product Overview
Rugged wiper motor that can take spray and wash-downs. The AFI 1000 and 500 Wiper motor kits are ideal for installations where water intrusion is inevitable as is the case with center consoles and canvas topped fishing boats. A high-impact thermoplastic cover fully seals the heavy duty 12 V motor from moisture and features external wiring connections to keep the internal components protected. The compact 1000 wiper motor has the torque to power a 14" deluxe wiper arm with a 14" deluxe wiper and is pre-set with an 80 degree swing that can be adjusted to 50 degree, 60 degree or 110 degree. The compact 500 motor can swing up to a 10 1/2" arm with an 11 1/2" deluxe blade. Both motors offer a coast to park feature that clears the wiper out of the line of sight and can be set up to stop on the right or left side of the windshield. The drive shaft is stainless steel and brass and features knurled drive shaft with brass nut. Be ready for a rogue wave that crashes over the bow or rogue deck hand that sends a stream of hose water into the dash by installing a waterproof AFI 1000 or 500 waterproof wiper motor kit.
