Product Overview
Made from aluminum alloy, this anode is designed for use in saltwater and brackish water. Used in brackish water aluminum anodes are superior to zinc, which can passivate" and not work at all, or magnesium anodes, which corrode too rapidly. Aluminum anodes are also lighter than zinc anodes and contain no cadmium, a substance of environmental concern. Length: 10.5" (268mm). Width: 3.3" (85mm). Depth: 1.2" (30mm). Bolt hole spacing, center to center: 5.4" (138mm). Bolt hole diameter: 0.21" (5.4mm). Bolt holes are slightly slotted to facilitate installation.
