Product Overview
The Maxwell Marine RC12-10 windlass (MPN RC121012V) is a low-profile, vertical anchoring system constructed from marine-grade 316 stainless steel. Designed for boats 35 to 55 feet, it features a patented Maxwell Wave Design™ chainwheel that accommodates 3" (10mm) short link marine chain (HT or BBB) and 3/4" (16-20mm) three-strand or 8-plait rope. The 12V, 1200W motor allows for 10 motor orientation positions, and its black hard-anodized gearbox has a 75:1 ratio. It provides a maximum pull of 2500 lbs (1134 kg) and includes a large through-deck hawse pipe for smooth rode handling. A double cone-type brake/clutch enables "Free Fall" anchoring, while the Active Latch Ratchet System assists in emergency manual retrieval. It comes with a dual-direction solenoid, breaker panel, up/down panel switch, and emergency handle.
