Product Overview
The Maxwell Marine RC612V RC6 Series is a 12V vertical low-profile windlass designed for automatic rope and chain anchor retrieval on boats typically up to 28 feet in length. Constructed from stainless steel (AISI 316) and chromed bronze, it features a patented Wave Design™ chainwheel that accommodates 1" (6mm/7mm) G4/HT or BBB short link marine chain spliced to 1/2" (12mm) three-strand or 8-plait rope. Powered by a 500W permanent magnet motor, it provides a maximum pull of 770 lbs, with a chain speed of 79 ft/min and a line speed of 69 ft/min. The unit's compact design and in-line vertical gearbox allow for easy installation, with the motor able to be oriented in ten positions. It includes a dual-direction solenoid, breaker panel, up/down panel switch, and an emergency free-fall activation handle. On-deck dimensions are 7-3/4" L x 5-3/4" W x 3-3/16" H.
