Medeco Key-in-Knob/Lever Cylinders

Medeco³ Key-in-Knob cylinders are designed to retrofit knob type cylindrical locksets, lever type cylindrical locksets, padlocks and bored type auxiliary deadlatches and deadlocks.

The 20 series, Key-in-Knob cylinders are UL437 Listed for drill and pick resistance, and the those that incorporate the Medeco³ design, offer utility patented key control.

Applications:
Over 100 different cylinder designs and tailpiece configurations enable Medeco to offer the largest retrofit capability in the industry. More retrofit cylinders means fewer replacements of the complete lockset.

    Medeco³ and BiLevel KIK/KIL cylinders can be masterkeyed into a system containing Medeco BiLevel and Medeco³ mechanical as well as Medeco³ CLIQ eCylinders.

    Protection From Physical Attack
    Medeco³ KIK/KIL cylinders are UL 437 listed and use hardened steel inserts positioned in critical areas of the cylinder, providing a high degree of drill and picking resistance.

    Special Angle Cut Keys
    Requires a special key cutting machine and access to Medeco specific blanks, available in a variety of restrictions to support every need.

    Picking and Bumping Protection
    Medeco³ cylinders use a sidebar that prevent the key from rotating until it is elevated, rotated and aligned in the correct position. This feature protects against bumping and picking attacks.
