These rings are made of steel and form a closed loop with a welded seam. Because the ends are welded together, these rings have more strength than solid rings which are cast into shape. The ring is nickel-plated, giving it good weather resistance and a nice, polished look. Do not use for overhead lifting or exceed the Safe Working Load (SWL).
