Nothing is worse than hitting a prop while out on the lake for the day well, that and losing the only wrench you have to repair the damaged prop. It's time for us to return to the dock. Your motor cranks at full power when you let go of the throttle, yet your boat remains still. It can also run very slowly on occasion, almost as if the motor had no propeller. To check if the prop is still in position, you turn off the engine and raise the drive. So, what exactly is going on? AFT HARDWARE KIT (990767) allows you to quickly and easily remove or replace your prop. Only rubber hub propellers will operate; hub kit style propellers will not.
