Product Overview
This Midland Industries 62161B is a 90-degree street elbow constructed from Type 304 stainless steel, designed for altering the direction of fluid or gas flow in piping systems. It features a 1/4 inch Male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded connection on one end and a 1/4 inch Female NPT threaded connection on the other, allowing it to connect directly to another fitting without requiring an additional pipe nipple. The fitting is rated for Class 150 service, suitable for pressures up to 150 psi for steam or water at specific temperatures, and up to 200 psi for general low-pressure applications at 70°F. Its NPT threads conform to ASME B1.20.1, ensuring leak-tight connections. The manufacturing facility is ISO 9001:2008 certified, and the fittings meet applicable chemical and mechanical properties, conforming to ASTM A-351
