Product Overview
This Midland Industries model 62470B pipe cap is constructed from Type 304 stainless steel, designed to seal the end of a threaded pipe system. It features a 1/8 inch Female NPT (National Pipe Taper) threaded connection, conforming to ASME B1.20.1 standards, and is rated for 150 Class pressure applications. The 304 stainless steel material provides excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for use with air, water, oil, natural gas, steam, food processing, and light chemical handling. Material properties conform to ASTM A-351, and the manufacturing facility is ISO 9001:2008 certified. It offers a maximum pressure rating of 300 psi at 72°F and 150 psi for steam at 366°
