Product Overview
The Midland Industries 62600BAG is a 1/8 inch Ground Joint Union Fitting designed for connecting two pipes while allowing for easy disconnection without needing to move the pipeline horizontally. This fitting features a machined angle cut in its mating surfaces to create a secure seal. Constructed from Type 304 Stainless Steel, an austenitic chromium-nickel alloy (equivalent to ASTM A351 CF8 for cast parts), it offers good strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance. Rated as 150 Class, this union is suitable for low-pressure applications handling air, water, oil, natural gas, and steam, with a maximum working pressure of 200 PSI at 70°F and 150 PSI for steam at 366°F. It features NPT (National Pipe Taper) and FNPT (Female National Pipe Taper) threads that conform to ASME B1.20.1 standards, and the material conforms to ASTM A-35
