This potting mix contains a quick-release natural fertilizer and also feeds plants for up to 2 months. Made with responsibly sourced peat*, this locally crafted** potting medium also contains upcycled green waste. This gardening product is also OMRI Listed for organic use. Use this organic potting soil with any outdoor container plant, including vegetables, herbs, flowers, annuals, and perennials. To apply, partially fill your pot with potting mix. Loosen the plant's root ball and place in the soil. Add more mix, covering plant roots, and press down lightly. To finish, water the plant thoroughly and let it drain. To avoid soil compaction and replenish nutrients, container plants should be repotted bi-annually with fresh potting soil. This 25 qt. bag of potting mix fills three 10-inch containers (amounts may vary based on the size of the root ball).
