The M.K. Morse 116183 bi-metal hole saw is engineered for cutting circular holes with a 1-1/8" diameter. This hole saw includes a built-in arbor with a 3/8" hex shank and pilot drill, eliminating the need for a separate purchase. It offers a 1-15/16" cutting depth and is suitable for various materials such as wood (including nail-embedded), plastic, plywood, pipe, and machinable metals like stainless steel. The design incorporates 4/6 variable pitch teeth, which reduce vibration and improve chip clearance, along with a positive rake angle for efficient material removal and reduced cutting forces. Additional features include a heavy-duty 0.050" sidewall for enhanced stability, side slots for easier slug ejection, and an exterior coating to minimize sidewall friction during operation.
