Morse 116329 Bi-Metal Hole Saw is engineered for cutting circular holes in a wide range of materials, including wood, plastic, machinable metals, nail-embedded wood, plywood, pipe, and stainless steel. It features a 2-inch diameter and a 1-15/16 inch cutting depth. Constructed with a bi-metal body, the cutting edge utilizes M42 high-speed steel with 8% cobalt, providing wear resistance. The saw incorporates a 5/6 variable pitch tooth design with positive rake, optimizing chip clearance and reducing vibration. Key design elements include a solid cap for minimizing runout, heavy-duty 0.050 inch sidewalls for stability, and wide side slots for efficient slug removal. This model includes an attached arbor with a 3/8-inch hex shank and a 1/4-inch high-speed steel pilot drill.
