Morse 116428 Advanced Bi-Metal Hole Saw features a 2-5/8 inch (67mm) diameter with an M42 high-speed steel cutting edge containing 8% cobalt, engineered for durability and cutting performance. It offers a 1-15/16 inch (49.2mm) cutting depth and incorporates a built-in arbor. The saw's design includes a cap to reduce runout and vibration, a heavy-duty 0.050 inch side wall for enhanced stability, and wider side slots for efficient slug removal. Its patented tooth set features a 4/6 variable pitch, optimized for cutting diverse materials such as wood, plastic, machinable metals (including nail-embedded wood, plywood, pipe, and stainless steel), steel, composites, rubber, and drywall.
