The M.K. Morse 116480 Bi-Metal Hole Saw features a 3-inch diameter and a 1-15/16 inch cutting depth, designed for creating circular cuts in various materials. Constructed with a bi-metal body and a premium M42 high-speed steel cutting edge containing 8% cobalt, it offers enhanced durability and cutting performance. This hole saw incorporates a patented tooth set design with a 4/6 variable pitch and positive rake for faster material removal and reduced vibration, along with a heavy-duty 0.050 inch side wall for stability. It includes a built-in arbor and is suitable for cutting wood, plastic, and machinable metals, such as nail-embedded wood, plywood, pipe, and stainless steel. An integrated side slot facilitates easy slug removal, and a red exterior coating minimizes side wall friction during operation. This product is made in the USA.
