Product Overview
The unique design of this fuel tank allows for easy storage in the bow of inflatables and dinghies. Made from marine-grade, cross-linked polyethylene, the Moeller Low Permeation 6-Gallon Above-Deck Bow Fuel Tank is USCG, NMMA and ABYC compliant. It also meets EPA/CARB regulations with an EPA-compliant, two-stage, ratcheting fuel cap. This mechanically-vented cap floats and is easy to grip with its ribbed design. Includes 90 degree, 1/4" NPT, Moeller-patented Poplock" aluminum withdrawal elbow that swivels 360 degree without losing its seal. Rotomolded 2 1/4" fill neck with gauge and vent. Reserve Fuel A reserve fuel area is designed right into the tank by means of a partitioned bottom. When the gauge registers empty, simply tilt the tank and the reserve fuel supply becomes available. Bow Design The unique design allows for easy storage in the bow of inflatables and dinghies. By moving the weight of the fuel up front, it helps the boat plane quicker.
