Product Overview
This Monarch 19 Series rim panic exit device, identified by manufacturer code 19RBA-MALLNG, is engineered for safe and easy egress on 48" wide, 1-3/4" thick wood or metal doors. It features a non-handed, exit-only (EO) function with a deadlocking stainless steel latchbolt providing a 3/4" throw. Standard hex dogging allows for hold-open functionality, and all mounting screws are concealed. The device covers a 161 cutout and has a maximum projection of 2-1/2", reducing to 1-7/8" when dogged. Constructed with a center case of heavy wrought and sintered metal parts, it is certified to ANSI A156.3-2001 Grade 1 standards and is UL listed for life safety. Optional 1-1/2 hour fire-rated construction is available for specific applications.
