The Mosack Group Inc. ABTSE111234 is a poly insert reducing elbow designed for connecting polyethylene (PE) plastic pipe, commonly found in cold water systems such as irrigation, well service, and potable water applications. This 90-degree elbow features a 1-inch (25.4 mm) insert connection on one end, reducing to accommodate either 1/2-inch (12.7 mm) or 3/4-inch (19.05 mm) PE tubing on the other. Poly insert fittings, typically made from polypropylene, nylon, or PVC, create a secure connection when their barbed end expands the PE pipe, which then conforms to the barbs under clamping pressure. This type of fitting is suitable for use with 50, 75, and 100 PSI PE pipe.
