Product Overview
The Mosack Group Inc. Apollo EPPW1012 PEX-A pipe is a 1/2 inch nominal diameter, 10-foot straight length of cross-linked high-density polyethylene tubing. Manufactured using the peroxide (Engel) method, this white PEX-A pipe offers superior flexibility and includes shape memory for heat-repairable kink resistance. It is suitable for hot and cold potable water distribution systems and hydronic heating applications, including radiant floor heating. The pipe can be installed in concrete, sand, under wood flooring, or behind wallboard. It is compatible with expansion (ASTM F1960), crimp, clamp, or sleeve connection methods. This PEX-A pipe is rated for 160 psi at 73.4°F, 100 psi at 180°F, and 80 psi at 200°F. It meets or exceeds ASTM F876, F877, F1960, F2023, F2080, F2155, NSF 14/61, cUPC, and CSA B137.5 standards, and is certified lead-fr
