The Mulch Worx 60010 Mulch Dye Concentrate is a liquid, brown colorant designed to rejuvenate faded landscape mulch. Composed of Ammonium Salt of Modified Acrylic Copolymer and Carbon Black, this product restores the appearance of mulch to a fresh, vibrant color. It is supplied in a 1-quart bottle and one bottle is sufficient to treat approximately 2800 sq ft of mulch. For application, the concentrate should be mixed at a ratio of 2 to 5 ounces per gallon of water and applied using a pump-type sprayer. It is recommended to apply when the mulch is dry and when no rain is expected for 24 hours. The dye is formulated to be safe for use around pets, plants, and humans, and it is water-based, containing no hazardous solvents or toxic ingredients. Carbon black, as a pigment in liquid mulch colorants, is processed and bound, reducing exposure to free particulate dust.
